VBIo experts: A tripartite partnership between France Europe Innovation, Voxsight and BioMaJe Conseil to support healthcare innovation projects
France Europe Innovation (FEI), Voxsight and BioMaJe Conseil announce a tripartite partnership, named VBIo experts, aimed at combining their expertise and strengthening their ability to support stakeholders in healthcare innovation.
This partnership is built around a shared ambition: to provide companies, research teams and healthcare stakeholders with complementary support covering the various stages of an innovative project’s development, from assessing its scientific and economic potential to securing European funding and structuring collaborative projects.
Three complementary areas of expertise supporting healthcare innovation
France Europe Innovation (FEI) – European project development and funding
Founded in 1999 by Olivier Degrand, an engineer trained at EPF, France Europe Innovation has been supporting research and innovation stakeholders for over 25 years in the development, funding and coordination of collaborative projects. Its expertise covers programmes such as Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020, the 5th, 6th and 7th Framework Programmes for Research and Technological Development (FP5, FP6 and FP7), Eurostars and LIFE.
FEI has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, gained through its involvement in numerous European projects, including SERENA (Horizon Europe), PHAGOBURN (FP7-HEALTH-2013), LEUKOTREAT (FP7-HEALTH-2009), TRIAD (FP7-HEALTH-2011), LOULLA & PHILLA (FP7-HEALTH-2007) and KIDSCANCERKINOME (FP6-2005-LIFESCIHEALTH).
Voxsight – Market intelligence and innovation valorisation
Led by Olivier Cotten, The MarkeTech Group has been developing expertise in marketing, market intelligence and healthcare consulting since 2010, with in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and innovation dynamics.
Voxsight supports the assessment of the market potential of innovations, the valorisation of projects originating from academic research, and the development of strategic market studies. Each year, the team conducts between 10 and 15 studies for Technology Transfer Acceleration Companies (Sociétés d’accélération du transfert de technologies, or SATTs), using a range of formats, from rapid assessments to in-depth analyses. It also draws on established relationships with key stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem, including Medicen, Eurobiomed, Atlanpole and the SATTs.
BioMaJe Conseil – Scientific expertise, R&D strategy and clinical development
Founded in 2020 by Dr Jérôme Gabard, BioMaJe Conseil supports life sciences stakeholders in their research and development strategies, clinical development and regulatory affairs. Drawing on extensive international experience in industry and consulting, Jérôme Gabard has also founded two medical start-ups.
His expertise includes bacteriophage-based approaches and combating antimicrobial resistance. He was co-coordinator of the European project PHAGOBURN, funded under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), and contributed to other European projects involving Pherecydes Pharma, including PHAGOPROD, funded by Horizon 2020. His experience leading Voxsight’s Life Sciences Business Unit further strengthens the complementarity of the expertise brought together through this partnership.
